We plan to organize an international Festival of Qanon in Yerevan 2009. There also will be a conference with the participation of the historicans, musicologists, ethnomusicologists etc. Scientists from different countries are invited to participate in. The purpose of the festival is to introduce qanon, it's history and use in modern, jazz, and classic music of the 21st century. If you are interested in this program, please let us know and send the information ( personal information, and the titles of the melodies and articles).

    In 2006 she founded a quartet of qanon players, where she used new models cultivated by her in 1970s. A clear example of this is series of Komitas’s music, which can be found in this CD, where qanon substitutes not only the bus but also other sounds. This performance shows that qanon can appear without any accompaniment, yet show its entire beauty and the colors of its sounds.
     This quartet had many concerts in Armenia, as well as outside of its bounds. The members are:

      In this CD you can find Ara Gevorgyan’s “Mush” musical composition, written for symphonic orchestra. This composition has been changed for an ensemble of qanon players and used by qanon accompaniment. The players are: The players are:

In 2007, on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of November Hasmik Leyloyan held her solo concert accompanied by a small orchestra in Avant-garde Folk Music club. During the concert sounded Armenian national songs, dancing-songs, national songs of different nations, as well as classical virtuoso works.

In September of 2007 was released Hasmik Leyloyan’s CD titled “Fly My Heart”, where can be found religious and Armenian national songs, as well as compositions of Komitas.
 
 
The recordings of Hasmik Leyloyan’s CD titled “Fly My Heart” will be over soon. Major part of the CD contains tracks by “Zartonq” quartet of canon players, which was assembled in 2006 and was warmly accepted by the audience.
 
 
In 2007 on the 16th of September Hasmik Leyloyan was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of the Republic of Armenia by the order of the president of the Republic of Armenia.
 
 
In 2007 on the 29th of August Hasmik Leyloyan, Anna Mailyan and Narine Malkhasyan held a concert named “Msho Sarer”. During the concert sounded Armenian national songs, dancing-songs, as well as some compositions of Komitas and Sayat Nova.
 
 
In 2007 on the 12th of March the symphony orchestra named after Yuri Silantyev held a concert in the Kremlin Congress Palace of Moscow, during which they performed Ara Gevorgyan’s works led by conductor Karen Durgaryan. In the concert also participated State Dance Ensemble of Armenia.
 
 
In 2006 in the United States of America was released Hasmik Leyloyan’s DVD titled “Golden Strings” by “Armenian Music Centre”. The clips from the DVD are frequently being shown by different TV channels.
 
 
In August 2005 was published the encyclopedia "The Musicians of the Armenian National Instruments", were information about Hasmik Leyloyan is placed.
 
 
From April to June 2005 in the USA, Hasmik Leyloyan participated in concerts of Ara Gevorgyan with the assistance of the local Philharmonic Orchestra.
 
 
In January 2005, Hasmik Leyloyan was conferred as a Professor of the Yerevan State Conservatoire.
